The Day After - Knappogue Castle

Pat and Mary Mackey will be hosting a BBQ lunch at Knappogue Castle in Quin (very close to the Church). Please join us at 12 noon for some food drinks and catching up on the day before.

Surrounded by the tranquil landscape and rolling hills of County Clare, Knappogue is located in a truly picturesque setting. Treasure the Castle with its magnificent rooms, great halls, and truly romantic gardens.

Distance from Dromoland Castle to Knappogue Castle is about 6 miles.
 
Upon leaving the grounds of Dromoland Castle turn right and travel a short distance to a roundabout.  Follow the exit for Quin village. Travel for approximately 3.5 miles to Quin Village and then take a right turn and travel up the main street, passing the church from yesterday on your left. Travel for approx 2 miles  (R469) to reach Knappogue  Castle (situated on the right hand side of the road).
